This kennel is an ideal shelter for the stray cats out there. I bought the liner too, whilst it is ever so comfortable and warm it makes the inside of the kennel very small as it is very thickly padded for insulation, which in my opinion wouldn't be very comfortable for a large cat, so I just use the mattress in there instead, which in itself is very padded and comfortable. I totally recommend this kennel, a big thumbs up.
