Established 18 years ago, Arden Grange is a family run, limited liability company started by Graham and Wendy Stephens. The Stephens' didn't decide to set up the Arden Grange dog food brand on a whim, and have in fact been involved with the breeding and showing of Ardenburg German Shepherds for years now; and have proven themselves to be exceptional when it comes to both.
It is as a result of their experience breeding German Shepherds, and their collective desire to provide all dogs with the highest calibre of nutrition, that together Wendy and Graham have been able to successfully accumulate the knowledge that initially enabled them to establish their – now highly acclaimed – brand of dog food.
Each bag of Arden Grange dog food is a truly nutritious meal, containing balanced ingredients which have been chosen for their individual health benefits. The meals formulated by Arden Grange are as tasty as they are healthy – which is something that is rare when it comes to dog food – fortunately Wendy and Graham knew that there was no point making a dog food that will help dogs lead long, healthy lives if they would not be willing to eat it.
The palatability of Arden Grange dog food is one of its most outstanding features, but what makes their meals even more extraordinary is that each and every one is hypoallergenic; in other words they contain no wheat (gluten), beef, soya or dairy products. Essentially all their dog food is safe for any dog to eat, irrelevant of their physical constitution or potential allergies. In addition to being free from potentially allergenic ingredients, Arden Grange dog food also contains no added salt or sugar, and is completely and utterly free from artificial colours, flavours or preservatives; thereby ensuring that it is as healthy as can be.
With chicken meat and rice making up over half of the entire meal, you can see just how much care has gone into Arden Grange Chicken & Rice's taste and nutrition. They only use chickens that come from high quality, sustainable sources and refuse to use battery-farmed alternatives.
Consisting of 40% lamb and 26% rice, it is rare for a dog food to be primarily made up of what it says on the bag (or tin). Needless to say, that, like the chicken, the lamb used in Arden Grange Lamb & Rice is perfectly suitable for human consumption, and is therefore 100% safe for dogs to eat.
Young dogs and puppies require a different kind of nutrition than adult dogs to compensate for their growing bodies. Still, the Arden Grange Large Breed Puppy Food contains around 50% meat and rice, and contains a number of other ingredients which will aid a puppy's physical and mental development.
