Been feeding our dog this since day 1. She still enjoys it and never leaves anything behind. It has certainly contributed to her healthy disposition.
A good quality, thick layered wood box. For chinchillas, at least ours, its primary function is to jump in and out of, and chew it furiously. It can probably fit two in at once, with a squeeze, but is perfect for one, especially with a bit of bedding in there.
