Reptile heat mats provide heat from below, recreating the feeling of warm sand that lizards, snakes and other reptiles would experience daily in the wild. Designed to gently warm the underside of a vivarium or terrarium, reptile heating mats should be inserted below half of the enclosure so that your pet can easily move between the warmer and cooler patches.
