Perfect for a house that has multiple cats, the Cat Mate Elite Selective Microchip Cat Flap With Timer Control is capable of storing the details of up to nine cats, using their Cat Mate ID discs or microchips to identify them.

The cat flap will stay firmly closed and locked until one of your cats has been identified, preventing the entry of any stray or curious cats that may want to enter your home uninvited. With a useful timer control function, you can also control when your own cats enter or exit the house, with an LCD display that will inform you if your cat is inside or still outdoors.

First time I have ordered from Pet Express and was extremely impressed with service. Ordered on Wednesday at 8.45am and got email confirming it had been packaged at 10.19 and then parcel on its way at 13.55. Received text next morning saying would be delivered between 8.57 and 9.57 and it was!! The cat flap is well made but had difficulty getting cats to go through and register microchip. We previously had a 4-way locking cat flap but often found other cats eating our cat food. Ordered this make because it should tell us which cat is in and out. Managed to do it and cat 1 went out and came back in with no issues. Cat 2 unfortunately couldn't get back in and will no longer attempt to use it. We managed to reprogramme the microchips and have kept on training mode. Think the issue was on energy saving mode. Will give update once cats have confidence in using it.

After searching for this model of cat flap that reads the implanted chip in our cats as they always loose their collars, finally find Pet express at the best price anywhere and a great service that delivered in 2 working days of order packed very well and works with a little alteration of the front door. The only glitch was one cat was so spooked by the noise if the lock undoing she ran away from the door for a while. Now she has the idea and almost ignores the sound. Every house should have one of these if you have unwanted cats eating you food and fighting in the middle if the night if your cat can't go a week without loosing a collar this is the perfect choice.

Large and Extra Heavy Item Delivery

If your order weight is over 25kg then it may be split into multiple consignments to ensure your safety and increase the ease of handling. We will endeavour to ensure both consignments arrive at the same time however due to decisions by our courier this may not always be possible.

Unfortunately, due to costs imposed on us from our courier, some large items will have a surcharge applied to them. This charge will appear in your cart when you checkout.


Live food Delivery

Live food delivery starts at £4.49 and we use a fully tracked next day service for this.


Frozen Food Delivery

Please see above for information about delivery days, times and rates. In certain circumstances orders may be delayed without prior notification. On occasions couriers may deliver your parcel at 48 hours, not 24 hours. These circumstances are out of our control therefore we do not guarantee a next day delivery service. We do not track orders so will not be able to notify you of courier delays. We will not replace or refund orders that have been rejected by the customer at 48 hours due to courier delays. Our boxes do keep everything frozen for 48 hours.

We will not replace/refund goods which have thawed upon an unsuccessful delivery due to no one being home to receive goods.

Orders placed after Thursdays 12.30pm will not be dispatched until Monday. Please note this will extend your delivery time.

You will receive an email from us the day before delivery notifying dispatch, please ensure you are home for the delivery, if you are going to be out, please get in touch to arrange a more suitable day.


International Delivery

Please note international delivery is temporarily unavailable.

Please note certain large and fragile products are excluded from international delivery. If your order is over 30kg, please checkout as normal and you will have the option to request a shipping quote from us. Delivery time to the following locations is 2 working days. Delivery will be automatically calculated during checkout, or visit our delivery page for a full list of international delivery rates.


How quickly will my order arrive?

Our aim is to dispatch all items within the allocated dispatch times (Same day/24 hour/48 hour dispatch). Please note if your order contains multiple items, the order dispatch time will be from the item with the longest dispatch time to ensure you receive your whole order in a single delivery.

We will send you a notification email when your order has been dispatched.

While we always try our best to dispatch every order following the above guidelines, during extremely busy periods dispatch times may increase by up to one day. We will keep you updated on the status of your order via email.

Delivery notifications & tracking

We will email you when your order is dispatched by us and if you provide a mobile number when you checkout our courier will email you on the day of delivery with a delivery slot.

In your dispatch confirmation email we will include any relevant tracking numbers.
