This is the first time using Pet Express and I shall be using them again. Apart from the good price the staff at the warehouse and office staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I shall certainly be back!

This product is first class and delivery to is first class. Pet Express truly lives up to its name and I recommend it to everyone. My birds love this seed even the cockatiels

My birds love this Parrot food and its first class,it contains all the seeds they love especially peppers,even the cockatiels love this mix. However I would prefer a best before date,I notice with this delivery there is no date provided. Pet Express runs an excellent service and I can rely on them for keeping me informed as to when my goods will arrive this is most important to me.

Our Parrot food arrived today within 48 hours as always. Ive not unpacked it yet as Ive been ill,but I know there will be no problems.Our Parrots love this food. The delivery man was very pleasant as always and gave us time to get to the door First class service as always Pet Express! Many thanks Stephanie

Unfortunately, due to costs imposed on us from our courier, some large items will have a surcharge applied to them. This charge will appear in your cart when you checkout.

How quickly will my order arrive?

Our aim is to dispatch all items within the allocated dispatch times (Same day/24 hour/48 hour dispatch). Please note if your order contains multiple items, the order dispatch time will be from the item with the longest dispatch time to ensure you receive your whole order in a single delivery. All of our products state how long the dispatch time will be for that product before you add to the cart. All orders are sent using a next working day delivery service. You should receive your item from 1 - 2 working days after dispatch. Bulky items may incur an extra 24hr delay.

We will send you a notification email when your order has been dispatched.

While we always try our best to dispatch every order following the above guidelines, during extremely busy periods dispatch times may increase by up to one day. We will keep you updated on the status of your order via email.

Delivery notifications

We will email you when your order is dispatched by us and our courier will email you on the day of delivery with a 1-hour delivery slot.

If you provide a mobile number when you checkout, our courier will also send an SMS message on the day of delivery with a 1-hour delivery slot.

Order Tracking

You will receive an email to confirm we have received your order and that your payment has been accepted. You will also receive an email when your order has been dispatched.

In your dispatch confirmation email we will include any relevant tracking numbers, allowing you to track your parcel on the DHL website

Manage your delivery

We have teamed up with DHL to provide our customers with the best delivery service possible which is both fast and flexible.

If we miss you on the first delivery attempt, we will try again the next working day. Alternatively, you can visit DHL and easily re-arrange your delivery to something which suits you better! You can choose from the following options:

  • Collect from depot
  • Leave in a safe place
  • Leave with a neighbour
  • Request a different delivery day

Free delivery for local postcodes

If you live within five miles of any of our Plymouth shops you can get FREE delivery on orders over £20. The delivery cost will automatically be removed as soon as you enter your shipping address during the checkout. Click here to see full addresses.

Here at The Pet Express we want you to enjoy every time you shop with us. Occasionally we know you may want to return items, we have tried to make our terms as clear as possible to avoid any nasty surprises.

  • Products can be returned up to 14 days from date of delivery for a full refund or exchange.
  • Any free gifts must be returned with your order or we withhold the right to deduct the RRP value of the free gift from your refund.
  • We are unable to accept part used returns of food, engraved ID tags, damaged products (unless delivered damaged) or veterinary medicines.
  • You are responsible for the cost of returning the product back to us, unless they arrive damaged, faulty or the incorrect item is delivered.
  • The product must be in its original packaging, unopened and in a re-saleable condition and the cost of collection or return will remain at your charge. 
  • We only accept returns for products that have been purchased through us.
  • Medicines: We regret that we cannot, by law, accept returns of any medication including all flea treatments and wormers. If you return a medicine to us all we can do is dispose of it for you as it cannot be resold.
