The biggest event of the year for dog owners begins on Thursday: Crufts! Running from the 8th to the 11th of March at the NEC in Birmingham, Crufts brings together breeders and trainers from across the world, all vying to be Best in Show.
As well as the famous breed showings, Crufts also features exciting events like Flyball, Working Trials and Agility. That’s as well as my personal favourite event; Heelwork to Music. Also known as doggy dancing, it’s always so much fun to watch.
Events take place across the 5 rings all day, every day, and you can find out when your favourite events take place over at the Crufts website. If you’re attending this year, I highly recommend planning your days in advance!
Of course, it’s not just the rings that have all the entertainment. All five halls of the NEC are packed full of trade stands, featuring every aspect of canine life you could possibly think of. From artists to charities, jewellery to treadmills, clothes to dog treats, Crufts has it all.
Tickets are still on sale for this fantastic event, if you fancy doing something a bit different this weekend. If you’re not able to make it, the entire event is going to be streamed live on YouTube, and added to the Crufts channel after each day.
