This SureFlap Microchip Cat Flap is a great way to ensure only your cat gets through your door. Using your cat's existing microchip number, it will let them in and out when it registers their number.

The Adapter

This adapter is designed for use with the SureFlap cat flap and makes installing it into walls or glass much easier, neater and more secure.

For example, in glass doors the adapter will cover any open areas left by a glazier, preventing heat loss from your home as well as providing a neat and clean finish. When used in a wall installation it saves you using adhesives and drilling through the cat flap. It can also be used to cover a hole left by a previous cat flap.

The adapter allows mounting in holes ranging from 210mm to 260mm (8½" to 10¼") diameter.

The SureFlap Microchip Cat Flap Story

The SureFlap Microchip Cat Flap was developed by Cambridge physicist, Dr Nick Hill. His cat Flipper was being tormented by neighbouring cats that entered his home through Flipper’s standard cat flap.

At first Nick tried replacing the cat flap with a magnetic cat flap, but Flipper hated wearing the collar and tag required to operate the flap. Eventually Flipper managed to break free from his collar and he was locked out of his own home.

At the time, all other selective entry cat flaps on the market required cats to wear collars to operate them. Nick decided to develop a cat flap that would read a cat’s existing microchip so that Flipper need never where a collar again.

Three years of intensive research followed and the SureFlap Microchip Cat Flap was launched in early 2008.

SPEND £39 AND UK DELIVERY IS FREE (we’re sorry, but this excludes British Highlands and Islands). For very heavy or over-sized orders where the total weight exceeds 30 kilograms we will offer the first 30 kilograms free and then charge an excess delivery charge of just 28 pence per extra kilo. All such charges will be shown during checkout.

Our delivery charges are as follows. These are based on weight per order, not per item. The weight of individual items is stated on product pages.

What about if I live in Plymouth, Torquay or Exeter - do I have to pay full price for delivery?

No you don’t! FREE DELIVERY IRRESPECTIVE OF WEIGHT IF YOU SPEND MORE THAN £20. When you enter your delivery postcode during Checkout, the delivery charge will be removed automatically.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Generally, you will receive your order within 5-7 working days of placing your order but usually this will be much quicker. Occasionally, due to circumstances beyond our control, it may take a little longer. You will be kept informed of the status of you order, via email at all stages.
