Dog Kennels are a useful addition to any home with one or more dogs. As well as giving your dog a safe and secure place to be while they are outside, kennels are also a convenient place to keep your dog when you don't want to upset visitors or get muddy paws all over the house. Dog Kennels can therefore help to alleviate stress for both you, your friends and your dog.
Broadly there are four types of Kennel.
The soft kennel is easy to transport and in the case of the dog chalet is a lightweight, movable option for pets on the move.
The wooden kennel is a heavy duty, long lasting option for a permanent location for your dog to sleep in. Made from exterior grade plywood, these kennels are designed to brave all sorts of weather and are more suitable for pets who might need to spend a lot of time outdoors. They typically have an apex or sloping roof and might have an internal partition for extra protection from the elements. Unless otherwise specified these kennels are flat packed.
Dog crates are wire mesh control pens which are used either in the house or in the boot of the car and will prevent your pet from tracing around the house or the car with muddy footprints or causing damage.
Finally there are also a range of gates, pens and parks which can be used to keep pooch in one place. We would also highly recommend the Snugs Outdoor Dog Kennels which are a durable and effective alternative to Wooden Kennels which will need more maintenance and cleaning.
